Disc Brake Conversion Lower Set. Comes with Spindle, Caliper Bracket, Backing Plate, Cross Drilled & Slotted rotors, Loaded Calipers, Pads, Hoses, Dust Caps and other Hardware, bearings seals, banjo bolts. All parts are based off the factory originals and fit just like the factory originals. What makes our kits different from the rest is all parts are factory and you have all the parts to complete the job. We give you the correct brake hose required for the existing frame bracket – without them – good luck getting the brake hoses to work. We also give you the correct rotor spindle cover and pads that are carbon metallic no the cheap ones. Our calipers are Standard thread not cheap metric and powder coated black. If 15 years from now one of the parts wear out you can swap with any factory original part or an auto parts store part and it all fits together. The other guys kit is a mash of parts to get the job done but not specific to any car. Wilwood’s D52 Front Caliper Kit is a direct bolt-on 2 piston replacement for the factory original single calipers on many 1968-96 GM Passenger Vehicles and Trucks. Forged billet aluminum bodies, stainless steel pistons, and competition style high-temperature seals put an end to the rust, bore pitting, and seal failures that plague the OE caliper design. D52 calipers provide low-maintenance performance and a huge weight savings with high temperature reliability for the street and track. D52 calipers mount in the stock location over stock rotors, use the original style OE D52 brake pads and an OE 7/16-20 banjo bolt brake line mounting. Calipers can be used with most wheels that clear the OE calipers. The front calipers with 2.00 piston provide 6.28 square inches of piston area per caliper, in order to maintain the original front to rear brake bias and use of the OE master cylinder. Kits contain Wilwood’s hardened slide pins and BP-10 high friction pads. Matching rear calipers are also available for custom installations. Vehicles 1978 & Up (with M10-1.5 banjo bolts) will require new brake lines available below. We have the highest quality parts in the market place period.. This kit is designed for converting from manual master cylinder brakes or hydro vac system to a vacuum power brake booster conversion. When making such conversions to power brakes, often times modifications are required. Featuring an specialty Bendix style 8 dual power brake booster. Black in color, like many OE style boosters of the day were. This booster will give you optimum stopping assist! We combine the booster with a dual reservoir master cylinder with 1 bore and ports on the left side. If you’re car or truck had a single bowl master cylinder this is a nice upgrade and much safer than the old single bowls often used. The shape and appearance of the master cylinder maybe characteristic of what could be found on vehicles of that era. Due to the wide range of vehicles this unit fits, we also include a specialty bracket with a variety of rod extension and pedal attachments. Bendix Style Master Cylinder Disc/Drum.
