This kit Universal Kit for Staggeredor Non Staggered Shocks provides an easy to install, bolt on solution for upgrading your Cars 10 or 12 bolt rear-end to disc brake performance featuring brand name recognized Wilwood Calipers. This kit will dramatically improve your stopping performance from drums to 11 gas vented and drilled rotors! Multi-Pattern 11″ Drilled & Slotted Rotors (Maximum diameter of 6.11″ to fit rotor hat, Olds Pontiac, & Buick Models will require machining of axles ends to gain clearance). Single Piston Wilwood Non-Emergency Brake Calipers. Caliper Brackets & Spacers, including for staggered & non-staggered shocks. 7/16 Stainless Steel Braided Hoses. Each rotor is drilled for GM 5 x 4.75” w/ 7/16” stud bolt patterns. ALL NEW PARTS, NOTHING REBUILT OR RE-MAN! Designed for A, F, X Body cars only. Fullsize Cars, S-10 and other truck rear ends will NOT accept this kit. MUST USE 15 OR LARGER RIMS! Rotor Will Not fit MOSER, Currie, or Aftermarket Rear Ends with out modification. Maximum diameter of 6.11 to fit rotor hat. 2.786 max register axle. Works on C-Clip ends only. Double check the ends of your axle before ordering. Some 10/12 rear ends will have to modify the axle or rotor opening to get the rotor to fit. Must have a 1.125 bore master and disc/disc valve to work correctly. This won’t work with your disc/drum master and valve. Wilwood’s D154 forged billet aluminum caliper is a direct bolt-on, lightweight, high-strength, extreme duty alternative to the OE cast iron calipers that were used on a wide range of factory disc brake equipped mid-size GM cars and small trucks beginning in 1978. Use of this caliper can still be found on some GM models as late as 2002. The wide spread and affordable availability of D154 calipers and brake pad compounds also made it a popular choice in a number of restricted class competition categories and drum to disc conversions on all types of hot rods and street machines. The D154 GM Metric replacement caliper was designed using computer generated 3D modeling and FEA stress analysis technology and have been configured to mount in the stock location with included OE type slide-pins to position over the rotor. This caliper design features a stress-flow forged billet aluminum body that provides a substantial weight savings over the original cast iron caliper, without any of the rust and corrosion issues that are common to cast iron parts. Stress flow forging realigns the internal grain structure of the metal within the contour of the caliper body to create a caliper that is superior in strength to any cast or machined from block billet caliper design. There simply is no better way to build an aluminum caliper with more strength or less weight. The D154 calipers utilize stainless steel pistons. Stainless pistons are used to resist corrosion and retard heat transfer from the pads into the caliper body. High temperature, square faced bore seals are used to provide controlled piston retraction and reliable performance from the wider sealing face. This combination of components is a proven performer with long service life and a history of reliable performance in any type of driving environment, including extreme sustained high temperature racing applications. The caliper slide pin holes are fitted with dampening rings to minimize noise from vibration. The caliper is also fitted with bleed screws on both ends to facilitate mounting in any left hand or right hand, front leading mount, or rear trailing mount locations. The caliper inlet port is threaded for use with a M10 x 1.5 banjo bolt or a line adapter using crush washers as a seal. The OE rubber lines can be used from any vehicle equipped with a M10 x 1.5 banjo. Smooth engagement with consistent response from a flat-torque curve throughout its entire effective temperature range. Good low to middle temperature wear rates. Beds quickly and provides fast response without excessive abrasion on vented-iron rotors. The front GM A, F, X Body disc brake kit allows an easy solution to convert your drums to disc. Everything included in one kit. The spindles are stock height and will not change the ride height. Your rims need to be 15 or larger or the kit will have clearance issues that you’d have to work around. Disc brake conversions typically create an offsets of 1/4″ to 3/8″. D52 performance brake calipers mount in the stock location over stock rotors, use the original style OE D52 brake pads and an OE banjo bolt brake line. Calipers can be used with most wheels that clear the OE calipers. The Rear calipers with 1.25 piston provide 2.46 cubic inches of piston area per caliper, to maintain the original front to rear brake bias and use of the OE master cylinder. The DBK9 provides an easy to install, bolt on solution for upgrading your pre-1980 Ford passenger car 9 rear-end to disc brake performance but is designed for cars only. Our kit is unique in that it provides all the brackets and flanges that fit the three most popular sizes of the small bearing 9 rear end. This eliminates all guesswork when purchasing and installing the kit and makes what we call a Universal kit! Great for use in numerous racing applications, including Modifieds (IMCA-type, UMP, USMTS, USRA), as well as on Street Rods, Street/Strip, Hot Rods, Drag Racing, Road Racing, Rally Car, and Off-Road. Wilwood’s D154 forged billet aluminum caliper is a direct bolt-on, lightweight, high-strength, extreme duty alternative to the OE cast iron calipers that were used on a wide range of factory disc brake equipped mid-size GM cars and small trucks beginning in 1978. Use of this caliper can still be found on some GM models as late as 2002. The wide spread and affordable availability of D154 calipers and brake pad compounds also made it a popular choice in a number of restricted class competition categories and drum to disc conversions on all types of hot rods and street machines. The D154 GM Metric replacement caliper was designed using computer generated 3D modeling and FEA stress analysis technology and have been configured to mount in the stock location with included OE type slide-pins to position over the rotor. This caliper design features a stress-flow forged billet aluminum body that provides a substantial weight savings over the original cast iron caliper, without any of the rust and corrosion issues that are common to cast iron parts. Stress flow forging realigns the internal grain structure of the metal within the contour of the caliper body to create a caliper that is superior in strength to any cast or machined from block billet caliper design. There simply is no better way to build an aluminum caliper with more strength or less weight. The D154 calipers utilize stainless steel pistons. Stainless pistons are used to resist corrosion and retard heat transfer from the pads into the caliper body. High temperature, square faced bore seals are used to provide controlled piston retraction and reliable performance from the wider sealing face. This combination of components is a proven performer with long service life and a history of reliable performance in any type of driving environment, including extreme sustained high temperature racing applications. The caliper slide pin holes are fitted with dampening rings to minimize noise from vibration. The caliper is also fitted with bleed screws on both ends to facilitate mounting in any left hand or right hand, front leading mount, or rear trailing mount locations. The caliper inlet port is threaded for use with a M10 x 1.5 banjo bolt or a line adapter using crush washers as a seal. The OE rubber lines can be used from any vehicle equipped with a M10 x 1.5 banjo. Smooth engagement with consistent response from a flat-torque curve throughout its entire effective temperature range. Good low to middle temperature wear rates. Wilwood’s D52 caliper is a direct bolt-on 2 piston replacement for the factory original single calipers on many 1968-96 GM Passenger Vehicles and Trucks. Forged billet aluminum bodies, stainless steel pistons, and competition style high-temperature seals put and end to the rust, bore pitting, and seal failures that plague the OE caliper design. D52 brake calipers provide low-maintenance performance and a huge weight savings with high temperature reliability for the street and track. D52 performance brake calipers mount in the stock location over stock rotors, use the original style OE D52 brake pads and an OE banjo bolt brake line. Calipers can be used with most wheels that clear the OE calipers. The Rear calipers with 1.25 piston provide 2.46 cubic inches of piston area per caliper, to maintain the original front to rear brake bias and use of the OE master cylinder.
